Jubilee Music and festivities in West Yorkshire

Much like other counties across the country, West Yorkshire is set to be in full celebration mode for the Diamond Jubilee. Plans are starting to take shape in the town of Wetherby for this special occasion, with several events taking place over the course of the June Bank holiday weekend. The town will be hosting an opening ceremony, at which there will be an unveiling of a memorial in honour of the Queen’s Reign. As part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations this summer, the Queen will be touring several regions across the UK. One of the towns which will be hosting the Queen’s visit in Staffordshire, is Lichfield. The Lichfield Cathedral and the Garrick will both be a part of the concert which is to be held in honour of the Queen’s visit.
